If you have eaten a mexican hot dog from a border town you know what I am talking about. The are made with steamed buns, bacon wrapped wiener, melted cheese, onions, peppers and tomatoes. Is there a place in Houston that makes them that way?

I know what you're talking about...there just about on every street corner in Mexico... with diced tomatoes, jalepenos, the works. Try Fiesta in the carts that sell roasted corn in front of the store.

Don't know about Houston, but in Tucson, they're called Sonoran hot dogs and are addictive. They are available all over Arizona and across the border in Mexico.

Sorry, but that isn't a Mexican style hot dog. Mexican food does not involve bacon, nor does it involve hot dogs. Sounds like some restaurant's twist on a California dog, that's all.

On the other hand, Venezuela puts odd toppings on hot dogs, like potato chips.

Houston is not really a Hot Dog city. You can find all those ingredients very easy at any grocery store and they are all very cheap. Just make them at home.
